You’ve just sold a plan. Congrats! After all that hard work helping craft the perfect blend of benefits for your client you’re probably wondering, “What comes next?”
We’ve got good news for you – we take it from here!
This article explains how Team Blendable takes the reins and moves a new plan from the end of the sales process through welcoming the Plan Members.
Acknowledgement
Once the application and agreements are sent to Blendable, our team gives the whole thing a thorough review to ensure the i’s are dotted, t’s are crossed, and all required information is complete and accurate. We’ll work directly with the Plan Sponsor to gather further detail or clarification as needed and provide any assistance to help with the process.
Confirmation
When the application and agreements have been fully completed, our Growth Team sends a confirmation email to both the Advisor and Plan Sponsor. This email is a reminder of everything we’re setting up. We include a list of the plan features and the official effective date for the start of the new plan, and we provide info on what to expect next.
Welcome
Plan Sponsors
On or about the effective date of the plan, the Plan Sponsor will receive a welcome email indicating their plan has been successfully set up. The welcome email will include:
- An overview of how to manage the HSA
- A link to access the online Plan Centre a secure portal where Plan Sponsors and Plan Admins can:
- View plan features, contribution amounts, renewal dates, and statements;
- Manage plan members; and
- Update banking details for payments
- Instructions for adding or removing members (if applicable) through the online Plan Centre
- Blendable contact information for our team at hello@blendable.ca for any post-launch support.
Plan Members
Once the plan is setup in our system Plan Members will receive a welcome email from Blendable containing a unique link to activate their online Member Centre account.
After clicking their activation link, Plan Members will:
- Create a password for a custom login to their online member centre and activate their account
- Enter contact and dependant details, as well as banking info for claim reimbursements
Once members activate their member centre, they can login online to:
- View plan details and Health Spending Account balances
- Submit claims and receive reimbursements
- Manage dependants and update contact information including direct deposit details for claims reimbursements
Advisors
Once the plan is set up, Advisors will be able to view plan details in their online Advisor Centre.
If this is your first plan, you’ll receive a welcome email to setup your custom login and access your Advisor Centre.
