Health Spending Accounts (HSAs)

HSAs are like bank accounts. Funds are contributed by plan sponsors, then plan members use those funds to reimburse their eligible expenses. It's the ultimate in flexibility with no plan limits on any service type.

HSA Rollback 10% of contributions Contribution from Plan Sponsor used to pay member claims. Unused funds are returned to the Sponsor.

HSA Rollover 10% of contributions Contribution from Plan Sponsor used to pay member claims. Unused funds are invested into a group RRSP.

Five Members

$200/member/month

HSA Enhanced 12% of contributions Notional allowance is given to members. The initial reserve is collected, claims paid as incurred, Plan Sponsor is billed to top up.

Five Members

$75/member/month

HSA Select 10% of contributions Contribution from Plan Sponsor used to pay member claims. Unused funds are credited on the next bill.

One Member

$3,000/year

Wellness Spending Accounts (WSAs)

Like HSAs, WSAs are features where Plan Members use funds contributed by their Plan Sponsor to reimburse eligible expenses.

Unlike HSAs, the list of eligible expenses is determined by the Plan Sponsor. Expenses reimbursed are a taxable benefit.

Enhanced Health Blend (EHBs)

Also known as Administrative Services Only (ASO) our EHB is a self-funded benefit plan. The plan sponsor sets appropriate limits for each service type, then reimburses claims plus an admin fee instead of paying premiums.

Peace of Mind benefits through affordable monthly premiums.

Advisor Compensation on Peace of Mind Benefits is 10% of Premiums.
